Malcolm Lightner is a fourth generation native of Florida. He received an MFA degree in photography from Arizona State University in 1998 and has been on the BFA photo faculty at the School of Visual Arts since moving to New York in 1999. In 2004, he was selected as an Art + Commerce "Emerging Photographer" and included in the corresponding exhibition in DUMBO. His work has appeared in publications including Life Magazine, Guernica, Photo District News and Visual Arts Journal.
